1. Initial Assessment: We start with a full physiotherapy assessment to understand your pet's condition, movement and goals, and confirm a brace or prosthetic is the right fit.

2. Measuring & Scanning: We take precise measurements (and a 3D scan or cast where needed) of the affected limb.

3. Custom Build: Your pet's brace is 3D printed to their exact specifications.

4. Fitting & Adjustment: We fit the brace in clinic, checking comfort, movement and alignment, and make any adjustments needed.

5. Ongoing Support: We review fit and function over time, especially important for growing pets or changing conditions.

Korben, an Alaskan Klee Kai, came to us with medial patellar luxation (MPL) — a common condition where the kneecap slips out of place, causing pain and an altered gait. After a full physiotherapy assessment, we fitted Korben with a custom Wimba stifle brace, 3D-scanned and built to his exact limb measurements.

With the brace supporting his joint during movement, combined with an ongoing physio program, Korben regained stability and confidence on his walks — without needing surgery. Regular reviews let us fine-tune the fit as his strength improved.
