Sarah is the founder of The Pet Physio. She has always loved animals and originally wanted to become a veterinarian, however when her family pet needed physio to return to walking after he lost the ability to walk. She saw the amazing results of physiotherapy and knew that she would love to work with animals helping them rehabilitate post injury.
Sarah graduated as a human Physiotherapist from University of Monash in 2011. After graduating, she worked as a physiotherapist in public health system in a variety of areas. Sarah worked as a ‘human’ physiotherapist for 5 years before deciding to chase her dreams of working with animals. Sarah has experience working as Animal Hydrotherapist and as a Physiotherapist since 2016.
Sarah has completed her Masters of Veterinary Physiotherapy at the University of Liverpool, which is a three year course including a research project. Sarah also assists in teaching the new students of the Veterinary Physiotherapy course through the University of Liverpool.
Sarah loves working with animals of all sizes, she currently has a 10 year old greyhound called Sox, but also grew up with Labradors, Cocker Spaniels, Jack Russell and Fox Terriers. So she loves big and small dogs. She even treats cats and rabbits as well!
